What is the syllabus of Delhi SI exam?

 

As of my last update in September 2021, the syllabus for the Delhi Police Sub-Inspector (SI) exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) includes the following subjects:

  1. General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc.

  2. General Knowledge and General Awareness: Current events, sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, Indian Constitution, scientific research, etc.

  3. Quantitative Aptitude: Whole numbers, decimals, fractions, relationships between numbers, percentages, ratios and proportions, square roots, average, interest, profit and loss, discount, time and distance, time and work, etc.

  4. English Comprehension: Comprehension passage, synonyms, antonyms, grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary, error recognition, fill in the blanks, etc.

  5. Computer Fundamentals: Basics of computers, computer terminology, input and output devices, networking, operating systems, internet, MS Office, etc.

  6. General Science: Physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental science topics from the 10th standard level.
